Free HBO weekend was a success even though I didn't realize it was going on until late Saturday evening. It seems to still be available until midnight tonight. That is lucky for me because there were a few films that I missed early Saturday that didn't run again until today. If you missed it altogether you still have a few hours.
I now have a dozen or so movies on my DVR that I have been hoping to see for a while. That should keep me busy for a couple months at the rate I have been watching lately. I'm sure I got a few that I will delete without ever watching.
I started up Sucker Punch yesterday and I'm not sure I'm going to make it through that one. I am only a few minutes in but I am thoroughly confused. Did she shoot her sister inadvertently? Why did she have to go to an insane asylum? Did she have a history of anti-social behavior or psychological abnormalities. I'm sure all that stuff is analyzed and explained in detain through the rest of the film. But the first 10 minutes made it seem like a movie I didn't really care to see. Maybe I'll give it another shot. I deleted Goonies so I would have room for it on the dvr, which looks like a bad decision.
